SSD Buyback

Sell SSDs in bulk.

Enterprise and consumer solid-state drives — SATA, SAS, NVMe, U.2, and M.2. New or pulled, any brand, any quantity. Every drive is data-sanitized.

Enterprise drives are where the money is

Data center SSDs — the drives pulled from servers and storage arrays — hold their value far better than consumer sticks, because they're built for endurance and validated for enterprise platforms. If you're decommissioning servers or clearing a storage refresh, the SSDs inside are often worth quoting separately rather than lumping in with the chassis.

Consumer and mixed lots welcome too

M.2 sticks from laptop fleets, 2.5-inch SATA drives from desktop refreshes, retail overstock — we buy those as well. Mixed brands, mixed capacities, and untested lots are all fine; we grade and test on our end.

Why we don't publish prices

SSD prices move daily with the flash market — any figure printed here would be stale within the week. The two biggest factors in your quote are simple: are the drives new or are they pulls, and what the market is paying that day. Send model numbers, capacities, and quantities and we'll quote against the current market, usually within one business day.

Data security

Every drive gets sanitized. No exceptions.

Selling used storage means selling hardware that once held your data. Here's how we handle that.

Wipe before you ship, or let us do it

If your policy requires in-house sanitization, wipe the drives before shipping — wiped drives are completely fine and don't affect your quote. If that's not practical, ship them as-is and we'll handle it.

Our process

Every drive we buy is sanitized using NIST 800-88 aligned erasure before it's graded, tested, or resold. Drives that fail erasure or fail health checks are physically destroyed rather than resold. A certificate of data sanitization or destruction is available for your records on request — just tell us you need one when we scope the lot.

Nothing gets resold, redeployed, or parted out with your data on it.

Questions

Common questions about this category.

What types of SSDs does Ocitech buy?

Enterprise and consumer drives in every common interface and form factor: SATA and SAS 2.5", NVMe U.2 and U.3, M.2 (SATA and NVMe), and add-in-card drives. New, pulled, tested, or untested — any brand, any capacity.

What happens to the data on drives we sell you?

Every drive is sanitized with NIST 800-88 aligned erasure before it goes anywhere; drives that fail erasure or health checks are physically destroyed. A certificate of sanitization or destruction is available on request.

Why don't you list SSD prices on the site?

Like memory, SSD prices move daily with the flash market. The two main factors in your quote are whether the drives are new or pulled, and the market rate the day we quote. Send model numbers and quantities for a current number.

Do you buy SSDs with high wear or unknown health?

Yes. Send them untested and we'll grade wear and health ourselves. Drive health affects the quote, but it doesn't disqualify a lot — even heavily written enterprise drives have value.
