Effective date: July 21, 2026. This policy describes what information Ocitech Inc. ("Ocitech," "we," "us") collects through ocitech.com and how we use it.
Quote form submissions. When you request a quote, we collect the information you provide: your name, company (optional), email address, phone number (optional), the equipment category, and any details you include about your lot. Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, our hosting and form provider.
Email and phone contact. If you contact us directly by email or phone, we retain that correspondence as part of doing business with you.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type. Google Analytics sets cookies for this purpose. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally to us.
Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested.
We use the information you submit for one purpose: responding to your inquiry and, if you decide to sell to us, completing the transaction — quoting, payment, and logistics. We do not sell, rent, or share your contact information with third parties for their marketing. We do not send marketing email lists; if we contact you, it's about your inquiry or transaction.
The services that process data on our behalf are: Netlify (site hosting and form processing), and Google Analytics (site usage measurement). Each operates under its own privacy policy. Payment is made by wire or ACH through standard banking channels using the account details you provide for that purpose.
The only cookies this site sets are those used by Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on; the site works fine without them.
We keep inquiry and transaction records as long as needed for business and legal purposes. If you'd like us to delete your inquiry information, or you want a copy of what we hold about you, email harlan@ocitech.com and we'll take care of it.
